Storyline: Based forward the true story of murderer Gary Mark Gilmore, spanning the extreme nine months of his life (May 1976-January 1977) in that at age 35, after being released beneficial to serving a long prison term in Utah by reason of armed robbery, the unstable Gilmore murdered couple men in two seperate and without perception robberies in which after a curt public trial in October, he was sentenced to end of life by firing squad which drew a doom of media attention when Gilmore insisted that his accomplishment be carried out and he became the foremost man to be executed in the USA subsequently to the government reinstated the death penal retribution in 1976.
