Forpopular dance music, there are three synthesizers which are consideredessential: the Virus TI, Nexus and Sylenth 1. While Sylenth 1 isnt anowhere near the complexity of the Virus TI, or offers the tranceboutique samples a la Vengeance of Nexus - the Sylenth gives the othertwo hard run for their money.
